Joining The Education University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.​

Kai Hei is honoured to start his position as an Instrumental Tutor at The Education University of Hong Kong, teaching students from BEd and BA (Hons).

He is also appointed as staff Ensemble-in-Residence at his Alma Mata, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He will be responsible for giving chamber music coaching, guest lectures and provide workshops for undergraduate composers.

Masterclass at Music Office, LCSD HK Government

Kai Hei is honoured to be invited to teach a Masterclass at Music Office, LCSD HK Government, co-organized by Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Awardee Association.

Kai Hei is honoured to be invited to teach a Masterclass at CUHK for students from the MA Music Programme.

French May at CUHK

Together with Pianist Poon Kiu Tung and Violinist Gary Ngan, Kai Hei will be performing Faure's Piano Trio, the last work of the legendary French Composer; as well as the world premiere of Prof.  Wendy Lee's Flux fragmentés (2022 New Commission)

CUHK Ensemble-in-Residence


Kai Hei is honoured to present a set of new works with pianist Hui Ling, clarinetist Lorenzo Iosco, violinist Gallant Ho and flautist Ivy Chuang at CUHK.

E-Orchestra: an initiative by EDUHK and LCSD

Kai Hei is humbled to perform as soloist with several schools which participate in the E-Orch programme. E-Orchestra is an initiative by EDUHK and LCSD, providing chamber music opportunities to kids who had insufficient musical exposure through the use of tablets synthesizers.
